How does booking work?
We want to make sure our home is the perfect fit for you and your group. Please direct all booking inquiries to our email and we will respond promptly. To secure your reservation a 50% deposit is required via etransfer at the time of booking and the remainder of payment is required 30days prior to your stay for low season bookings and 2 months in advance for high season bookings. We look forward to hosting you!

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy offers a full refund for cancellations made at least 30 days in advance for low season and 90 days in advance for high season. Unfortunately, any cancellations made after this period are non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding!
What is the damage deposit?
We require a damage deposit of $500 dollars added onto final payment which will be refunded within the week via etransfer.

When is check in& out?
Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. Please feel free to reach out to us for any specific requests, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
Can additional guests join us?
We appreciate your understanding that only registered guests can be accommodated on the property. However, we encourage you to explore all the wonderful local spots where you can meet up with friends and family. There are plenty of great options waiting for you in the area!
When is high season vs. low season?
Our high season is June 1st- September 7th, and low season is September 8th- May31st.

What are the main differences in high season vs. low season rentals?
High season bookings are based on weekly stays and we do allow up to 10 guests for these bookings. In our low season we are happy to offer a 2night minimum stay for up to 6 guests and you’ll have access to the hot tub for bookings between October1- May31st.
What is your minimum nights’ stay?
During the high season, we offer weekly rentals from Sunday to Sunday, with a one week minimum. In the low season, we are pleased to offer shorter-term rentals, requiring just a two-night minimum stay.
Where is the lake house located?
Our prime location is perfect for travellers, just 1 minute off the TCH for easy access. You'll find us only 2 minutes from Sorrento, 30 minutes to Salmon Arm, and an hour's drive to Kamloops or Vernon. Plus, it's just a 2-hour journey to Kelowna!
What do we need to pack? Our home is fully furnished, designed with your comfort in mind to ensure your stay is as convenient as possible. We encourage our guests to pack just like they would for a hotel stay- simply bring a weekend bag and your favourite food and beverages! Enjoy a hassle-free experience, everything is ready for you to unwind and relax.

Are pets allowed?
We value your passion for animals! Unfortunately, our rental policy does not allow us to accommodate pets at this time. Thank you for your understanding!

Can we use the hot tub?
Relaxing in a warm hot tub during the cooler months is a true delight. Please note that the hot tub is exclusively available for rentals between October 1st- May 31st, ensuring that you can enjoy this when it matters most. For the adventurous, take a brave cold plunge dip in Shuswap Lake, then warm up in the hot tub or by the fire for the perfect ending to your day.

Is there a fire pit to enjoy a campfire?
Enjoy the cozy atmosphere around our fire pit with your group! Please keep in mind that during the warmer months, fire bans may be in effect in the area, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these regulations. Stay safe and have a great time! Please note you must supply your own firewood.
What're your favourite things to do in the area? In the Shuswap there's adventure in every season! In the summer, you can hike through stunning trails, enjoy fishing and boating on the lake, or simply unwind on the dock with a good book. When winter arrives, embrace the thrill of skiing, snowmobiling, and even cold plunging in the lake, followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. There's something for everyone to enjoy year-round!
Would you host a small event?
Over the years, we have hosted a variety of private events, including birthdays, graduations, baby showers, micro weddings and more. At this time, we do not offer our space for event rentals, but please feel free to reach out with any inquiries. We're here to help!
Are there any additional rules we should be aware of?
Just a few housekeeping items: absolutely no smoking indoors, be respectful of our neighbours, park only in designated stalls, boats should be kept on buoys at night, please leave furniture in designated place, and remember that only toilet paper should be flushed. Most importantly, relax and have fun!
Do we have exclusive access to the property?
We want you to feel at home during your stay, access is granted only to registered guests, ensuring a tranquil and secure environment for your stay. Please note that we handle all property maintenance ourselves, so if you have an extended stay you may see us around for tasks like mowing the lawn, pushing out the dock, garbage removal etc.
Is the home secure?
Our property is equipped with a security system, as well as a gate at the top of the driveway.

We have a boat, is there a buoy?
From June 1st to October 1st we offer guests access to a buoy for your boat. This buoy comes with a quick securement connect lead for easy and secure anchoring. Please note that boats must be placed on the buoy overnight. There is a boat launch conveniently located 2 minutes away in Sorrento.

Can we bring an RV?
We have 2 RV hooks up available, both are equipped with a 30amp RV electrical service and water. Please note that each guest is responsible for their own hookups. There is an additional booking fee of $100 per night, based on 2 additional guests. Note the maximum 5th wheel length is 36ft.

Do you have Wifi?
Unfortunately, we do not offer wifi at this time. However, there is cellphone service, ensuring you can stay connected throughout your stay or unplug if you choose too.​​​

Is there a store near by?
Sorrento is just a quick 2-minute drive away, offering all the essentials you need. You'll find a grocer, liquor store, gas station, pharmacy, and more. Whether you're gathering groceries or completing errands, everything you need is easily accessible!
